Sharakah inks pact with ACT - Business Studies Department

An important event took place before the end of this academic year when, on 29 May 2017, Sharakah and ACT signed an agreement with the purpose of inspiring and guiding ACT students in the field of entrepreneurship. The agreement was signed by the Dean, Dr. Issa Saif Mohammed Al Tubi, and Mr Abdullah Al Jufaili, General Manager of Sharakah.


entrepreneurs are the backbone of modern economies, educating the Omani youth at an early stage will result in a better opportunity for them and their contribution is important to the national social-economic of Oman. Dr. Shantanu Shekhar of the Business Studies Department and Ms. Umaima Al Ghadani, the Investment Manager of Sharakah are in charge of the supervising and implementation of the agreement.


The agreement between the College and the SME funding agency Sharakah, is to promote academic cooperation by providing guidance to the students who are interested in this field. Considering that


ACT hopes to be a leading Center of Entrepreneurship Cell, acknowledging the support provided by Sharakah.
