Assessment and Examinations
Assessment methods, standards and moderation procedures implemented in the College are guided by the College ByLaws. Student assessment is a continuous process and is integrated in the delivery of the courses prepared by the individual lecturers. All departments make sure that assessment process is not only appropriate but also fair and accurate.
Examination activities such as timetable preparation, invigilation charts preparation, seating arrangement preparation, conducting of examination, and physical security of papers before and after examination are monitored by Examination Committee with the support of staff. In giving student marks, a grading scale is also used.

ACT aims to achieve coordinated, fair and consistent assessment, evaluation practices in the student learning process with equal opportunity for all students. The scope of the assessment policy covers the preparation of examination room, guidelines to be followed before, during and after the examinations, responsibility of invigilators, and other problems related to the examination process. Date of Examinations
Schedules for major examinations such as Midterm and Finals are announced and posted in advance as scheduled in the College Academic Calendar. See exam dates.
Information for Students
Certain information regarding the course, the objectives of final examinations, final mark, and cummulative average are necessary for you to know in taking the examinations. In giving student marks, a grading scale is also followed.
Special Considerations Regarding Examinations
Conducting and taking of examinations are carried out by the faculty and students and usually conducted within the college. Certain considerations are given importance regarding the examinations.
