Certification Programs
ACT offers different academic program certification courses in association with or certified by professional bodies include:
- International Computer Driving License (ICDL) and CISCO Certified Network Associate (CISCO CCNA) certification courses within the Information Technology Department;
- Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certificate course in the Business Studies Department
The main objective of ICDL is to improve the basic knowledge of students about Information Technology so that they can easily enter the job market. The identification of ICDL certified personnel also helps the employer in improving the company's productivity.
The Cisco CCNA® Discovery provides foundational networking knowledge, practical experience, opportunities for career exploration, and soft-skills development to help students prepare for entry-level careers in IT and networking.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification helps ACT's Accounting Technician students advance in their careers. The CAT qualification provides students with a solid foundation in finance and accounting. They acquire the necessary technical skills and knowledge required to perform an accounting support role.
