Health and Medical Services
ACT believes that the general health and well-being of students is an important aspect of their success and contributes to both academic and personal growth and achievement.
The Student Affairs laid out an annual activity plan for promoting awareness and ensuring the health and welfare of our students. The activities may include:
- Blood Donation Campaign
- Health Lectures
- Social Services
The College Clinic is staffed by nurses for male and female who provide health and first aid services to both students and staff. The clinic is a vital element of the college in providing healthcare services to students and staff with the treatment on acute and chronic conditions, including sore throats, headaches, skin rashes, fever, anemia, and asthma. We also provide free checkups, evaluations, and counseling on smoke cessation, blood pressure, nutrition, and other health-related issues.
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM to 2:30PM
Transport service is available to send patients with serious conditions to a nearby polyclinic after working hours, especially in labs and workshops which are open until 8:00 pm. The Clinic will just have to provide a referral letter to seek medical service from the polyclinic.
