The Engineering Department converges research and technology transfer to create new ideas and magnificent inventions. We have established an environment in which our faculty, staff, and students can engage in interdisciplinary thrust areas. Our graduates can excel to hold the best promise as future technologists and engineers!
The ACT Engineering Society under the supervision of Students Affairs representatives of Housing and Activities organized an engineering week from 6th March, 2017 to 8th March 2017 for third years.
The Engineering Society of ACT (TESACT) organized a seminar on ‘Planning for a Successful Life by setting Effective Goals’ on January 31st, 2017. It was presented by Ms. Mai Mubarak Thani Al-Saadi. The seminar was intended to motivate students to set goals effectively and to guide them in creating an action plan to achieve their goals.
The Technological Engineering club aims to highlight the potentials of all Engineering students and to stand with them in all concerns and on their best interest.
The Engineering Department is dedicated to give a wide spectrum of integrated courses in each field of specialization. These are carefully designed to respond to the needs of promoting growth and development of national sectors in all walks of life. It offers a broad preparation for competent and professional employment.
The Engineering Department has three sections, namely: the Electrical and Electronics Section, Mechanical and Industrial Section, and the Civil and Architectural Section. At present, the first two sections offer up to B.Tech level whereas the latter offers up to Diploma level only.
