In our college, you get to choose from a diverse educational programs that are academic, applied, technological and vocational nature. (Article 40).

Our academic year is consist of two successive semesters (one in the fall and the other in the winter) each with a duration of 16 weeks, separated by a two-week mid-year vacation. You may study for two additional and consecutive summer semesters of 6 weeks each.(Article 42).

Normally, when you study in ACT, it takes three years for you to qualify to Higher Diploma, whereas, in the Higher Colleges of Technology, the duration of study is four years, to qualify for a Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech.). The study system progresses from one level (qualification) to another. Upon completion of each level, you will be awarded with the qualification designated for that level. The levels and qualifications are as follows: (Article 41)

(a) Certificate: One academic year

(b) Diploma: Two academic years

(c) Higher Diploma: Three academic years

(d) Bachelor' Degree: Four academic years

As a student, you will advance from one level to the next upon meeting all the requirements, including the GPA, as shown in this flowchart.
