Congratulations to Dr.Syed Hamid Hasan, Head of the IT Department of Al Musanna College of Technology, who was nominated as a reviewer for the First International Conference on “Networked Digital Technologies-NDT 2009” at Ostrava-The Czech Republic. The conference is co-sponsored by COMSOC of IEEE. He had reviewed a paper entitled “Static Analysis for Web Security in abstract syntax format” from the university of Aizu, Japan.
The Sultanate of Oman, with the supervision of the Ministry of Manpower, has established seven dynamic technological colleges in the Sultanate of Oman namely: Higher College of Technology in Muscat, Shinas College of Technology in Shinas, Nizwa College of Technology in Nizwa, Salalah College of Technology in Salalah, Ibra College of Technology, Ibri College of Technology, Al Musanna College of Technology.
The Shell Centenary Scholarship Fund (TSCSF) was established as a registered charity in 1997.Under various Masters programmes, TSCSF offers postgraduate students from developing countries the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, and gain skills that will make a long-term contribution to the further development of their countries.
