A guest lecture was organized on 7 March, 2017 by the Business Ethics faculty members of ACT and coordinated by Ms. Jeannette Ong Ee-Lyn from the Business Department. The distinguished guest speaker was Mr. Nader Nasser Hamood Al-Rawahi, who is the Director of Account Business Development and Government and Public Sector Leader at EY (Ernst & Young).
It was a lecture organised for students from the Business Ethics module of Business, IT and Engineering departments. The topic was ‘”What’s after my Graduation” in relation to Ethics’.
Mr. Nader gave some insights regarding the ethics that students should possess when they are in the real working world. He pointed out that the three main enemies that drag a person to behave unethically are, one, being surrounded by negative people, two, ego of oneself and three, lack of awareness of surroundings.
Students found the lecture very inspiring and interacted well with the speaker. The guest lecture lasted for an hour. Finally, Ms Nawal Al Hosni (HOD) presented a certificate of appreciation and a memento to Mr. Nader Al Rawahi.
