UTAS-A Scout Clan Leader Attends Scout Moot in Tunisia
Mr. Jaifar bin Jammaan Al-Hinai, the scout clan leader of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences- Al-Musannah (UTAS-A), participated in the 21st Arab Scout Moot held in Tunisia from 21-30 July 2022. The main objective of the moot was to strengthen the Arab Scout friendship and relations with the rest of the world as well as promote openness to different civilizations and cultures and activate the role of the Scout Movement in servicing and developing the societies.
More than 700 Arab scouts and several international scouting officials from more than 15 Arab, African, European, and Asian countries participated in the regular moot under the slogan “Bridges of Peace”. Workshops, academic seminars, and panel discussions on scientific, environmental, health, and technical topics were held during the moot with the participation of experts in the fields mentioned.
