BS Students Inducted for Semester 2
BSDAn induction programme for students was conducted by the Business Studies (BS) Department, UTAS-Al Musannah on 14 February 2023 from 12 pm to 2 pm in BS 112. The program was conducted to help students understand academic-related matters such as the policies, procedures, and rules of the University and the Department.
During the induction, the students were introduced to the different levels of the program (Diploma Level to bachelor’s degree), the number of courses that can be studied each semester, details regarding course withdrawal, repeat, and postponement, minimum passing grade required for each course and the different academic programs offered in UTAS –Al Musannah. The key speaker of the session was Ms. Nuzhat Said Amur Al-Kharusi who was supported by the Registration Committee members: Dr. Ghouse Mohiyaddin Sharif, Dr. Santhosh Nithyananda, Mr. Joshy Mathew, and Mr. Mohammed Saleh. The session ended with a question-and-answer session where various queries from the students were answered.
