BSD Students Visit CBO
BSDThrough the initiative of the Industry Link and Community Engagement Committee of the Business Studies Departments (BSD), an industrial visit to the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) Muscat was organized on 22 February 2023 for students who are studying Banking Theory and Practice.
The students visited CBO and gained an in-depth knowledge of the various operations of the bank. The students also visited the currency museum at the CBO premises and were granted the unique opportunity to see the various currencies of Oman from the time when money first became a medium of exchange up to the present age. They also got an insight into the way currency is made. Dr. Alamelu Mangai Raman and Ms. Jawaher Al Balushi, BSD lecturers, accompanied the students on this industrial trip.
