CCIS Staff and Students Participate at the 2nd MEC Colloquium

Middle East College (MEC) conducted the 2nd MEC Colloquium on Securing the Future: Exploring Trends and Strategies in Cyber Security on May 13, 2024, at the MEC auditorium to advance knowledge and skills in cybersecurity. The Department of Computing and Electronics Engineering organized the event in collaboration with the ISACA student group, IEEE student chapter, and BCS student chapter.

Distinguished IT staff and students from the College of Computing and Information Systems (CCIS), Al Musanna, including Dr. Divyajyothi, Ariam Saleh Zuwayid Juma Alhasani, and Anwar Faiz Harib Aldaeri, actively participated in the colloquium. Their engagement in technical talks and panel discussions contributed immensely to the rich exchange of insights and perspectives on pivotal trends and strategies shaping the future landscape of cybersecurity.

The session featured thought-provoking discussions led by industry experts, faculty members, and passionate students, fostering an environment conducive to exploration and innovation.
