ELC-Staff Social Committee is back on track!

The ELC-Staff Social Committee (SSoC) is back on track in providing venues for the staff to engage in socialization with others during special events. During the 2nd semester of the academic year 2021-2022, SSoC organized the following events: Teacher’s Day, MOTHER’S Day Out! (Mother’s Day) and International Breakfast Day where the staff enjoyed a lunch buffet, went out to celebrate Mother’s Day, and enjoyed some discounts from selected establishments at Al Manza Mall in Swaiq.
Some minor activities like awarding a token of recognition to the part-time teachers was also carried out to further promote camaraderie and appreciation to those who joined the Center.
For the 3rd semester of the academic year, the ELC QA, headed by Dr. Annie B. Domede, organized a Recognition Day and End-of-Semester event where the SSoC helped out in organizing the program, food, tokens for outgoing teachers, gifts for the raffle draw, and sought possible sponsors for the said event.
It has been the Committee’s goal to organize social activities to ensure a work-life balance among the ELC staff.
