EnggThe Engineering Department through its Staff Development Program (SDP) – Human Resource and Development Committee (HRDC) of the Electrical & Electronics (EE) Section held a webinar on 26 April 2022 at 11.20 AM.
Mr. Shabbier Ahmed Sydu, HRDC member of the EE Section welcomed the 56 participants and introduced the speaker, Ms. Analene M. Nagayo, a lecturer of the Department of Engineering, UTAS Al-Mussanah.
Ms. Nagayo provided an in-depth explanation about research proposal, its structure, and other pertinent information regarding the topic. In her presentation, the speaker explained the following objectives:

- Requisite of a good title for project;
- Introduction and Statement of the Problem / Project;
- Literature Review and Analysis of Related Work;
- Research Methodology [Describe your Implementation Plan, Time-line and Milestones];
- Budget and Cost Analysis;
- Collaborators; and,
- Current Research Trends available for funding (TRC/EJAAD).
In her talk, the speaker reiterated that a proposal’s objective should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound (SMART).
