A group of Diploma II Students from the HRM Section of Business Studies Department went on an industrial visit to Bahwan Cyber Tek (BCT) on 25 September 2019. The visit was to enrich their knowledge about HRM Functions and their operation.
BCT has a digital transformation of businesses through IP-led products and cognitive solutions, growth accelerators and innovative outcome-based business models. BCT solutions span across Digital Journey Management, Predictive Analytics, Digital Customer Experience, Payments & Citizen Services and Education. Incepted in 1999, it has worked with Fortune 500 companies 1000+ Enterprise Customers, 3500+ SME Customers and 475+ Universities across twenty countries in North America, Middle East, India, Far East, and Africa.
The session was started by Mr. Raghunathan – VP with a short introduction to HRM functions in BCT, which was followed by Mr. Sumanth, who explained the importance of communication and how it is an essential tool in achieving productivity and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels of an organization.
Later, Mr. Muhammd Asif Basha, highlighted resource management and the salary process and Ms. Aisha Al Harthy – HR,Trainee enlightened students on how to handle employee grievance at the workplace and also shared her expereince.
Mr. Raghunathan – VP presented participation certificates to all the students and student Osaid Al Hinaai proposed a vote of thanks.
The talks given on the visit were really informative and useful.
BSD staff members Dr. Alamelu Mangai and Dr. Radhapriya organised the event and accompanied the students on the industrial trip.
