IT Students Present Research Papers at AOU Conference

Arab Open University - Muscat, organized the 2nd AOU International Student Research Conference (AOU-ISRC 2019), inspiring young researchers to participate and discuss their findings, from 24th to 25th April 2019. AOU-ISRC provided a platform for collaboration among students, academicians, experts and research scholars from various spectrum. The main theme of the conference was on Business studies, Instructional technology, Educational Leadership, Information and Communication Technology, English Language and literature. 

Three Students from the IT department -   Sara Mohammed Al Mujaini, Muntaha Salim Al Maawali and Shaima Khamis Al Salehi participated and received the certificates for the paper presentation on the topics -"The using of Technology to Educate the Kids on G6PD Anemia (Case Study Sultanate of Oman)", "Implementation Techniques and Models for Security in Smart City”, “Modern Programs and Techniques that help in Software Re-Engineering" respectively.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The research conference was an eye-opening event for students which helped them to enhance their research experience and skills.   

The department would like to thank Dr. Divyajyothi M G, for supervising and reviewing the research papers that were presented.

Special thanks to Dr. Najiba Said Hamed Alzadjali,  HoD of IT Department, for the encouragement and motivation, Dr. Lenin J, HoS (N/W and IES), for coordinating with the students and rehearsing them for the final presentation and Ms. Khoula Ali Saleh Al Saadi, HoS - IT, for encouraging students to actively participate in the event.
