The Students’ Academic Activities Committee of the Engineering Department organized the intradepartmental project competition called TechBazaar2023@UTASA for engineering students on 8th May 2023. This annual project exhibition was created for students to exhibit their graduation projects and showcase their technical and enterprising skills.

The event was participated in by 17 teams, of which three (3) teams are from the Mechanical Section and 14 teams from the Electrical Section.

Dr. Monia Mohamed Al Farsi, a lecturer from the IT Department, Mr. Aatif Abdul Samad Al Balushi, Head of the TTO office, Dr. Lenin Jeevanantham, a lecturer from the IT Department, and Dr. Senthil Kumar, a lecturer from the Engineering Department served as judges in the competition and selected the best projects from each section. The judges scrutinized the quality of projects based on various criteria like innovation in design, industrial applicability, and social impact.

Dr. Nihad Abdallah Mohammed Alzadjali, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, awarded certificates to the winners.
