Paper Presentation on “Psychological Contract –A Tool to Improve Employer-Employee relations” at AOU International Student Research Conference (AOUISRC-2019)

The Department of Business Studies is proud and happy to announce that our student Ms. Hasna Salim Al Balushi (B. Tech- HRM, Business studies) has presented a research paper at the Second AOU International Student Research Conference (AOUISRC-2019) ‘Inspiring Young Researchers’ held in Majan Continental Hotel, Muscat on 24 April  2019. The paper titled ‘Psychological contract –A Tool to Improve Employer-Employee Relations’ was written under the Guidance of Ms. Neetu Kwatra, Lecturer, Business Studies. The conference was attended by students from different colleges in and around Oman who presented their work on different topics.

Ms Al Balushi focused on identifying the unwritten reciprocal expectations between the employee in the context of job performance and flexibility and the employer in the context of job content and management policy in the academic sector and to identify the gap between the perceived expectations and promised obligations. It also suggested ways to improve the relationship between the employer and employee.

She presented her paper with in the given time frame and handled queries well.
