Outcomes - Diploma Year 1
Goal:
The program is designed for students who will become more generally educated about business, improve the conduct of their personal business affairs, and have a business foundation to aid them either in their careers or in their further studies.
Objectives:
The program should enable the students to:
1) Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing in professional setting.
2) Apply the relevant business fundamentals in professional environment.
3) Make effective use of available information technologies and resources.
4) Become familiar with and understand different business fundamentals such as concepts and functions of business.
Outcomes:
The graduates should be able to:
1) Communicate effectively in English.
2) Analyze issues in business creatively by using creative problem solving approaches.
3) Recognize the importance of ethics in the business environment.
4) Define the different functions of business.
5) Function independently and in a team.
6) Apply the knowledge of mathematics and business.
7) Utilize the available information technologies and resources.
8) Achieve business standards for efficiency and quality of work.
9) Define business terms and concepts.
