Given the objectives and outcomes by the Ministry of Manpower, we prescribe to strong student involvement within the class as well as out-of-class language learning activities. Our teachers provide classroom practice which actively engages student through pair and group work, presentations, and students' participation in projects, role plays, debates, and classroom discussions.
We also encourage both critical thinking and learner autonomy within our students, in which we promote and develop good study habits, understanding of their own learning process.
Our English Language Courses are student-centered. Students will spend up to four semesters in the Center's English Foundation Program. Our desired outcome is to ground our students in the four skills of English. We also encourage critical thinking and self expression with English. Students, who successfully pass their level through continuous assessment and exams, will move to the next level the following semester.
