A Webinar on Health and Safety Policy and Its Implementation Conducted
ITThe Health and Safety Committee of the Information Technology (IT) Department organized a webinar on “Health and Safety Policy and Its Implementation in IT Department” on Thursday, 10th March 2022 from 12:00-1:00 PM. The workshop aimed at creating awareness among staff and students about the University’s Health and Safety Policy. The speakers for this workshop were Dr. Faheem Ahmad and Ms. Blessy Jayaron Jose.
The workshop started with a presentation by Dr. Faheem Ahmed. He highlighted the Health and Safety Policy, safety measures to be taken on campus for both staff and students, committee members, and the health and safety coordinators appointed at different buildings and floors. He also conducted a quiz based on his presentation.
Ms. Blessy Jayaron Jose’s presentation was on “Safety Measures at the University for Staff and Students”. Ms. Blessy started with her presentation objectives including the provision of assistance for staff/students’ health and safety, steps taken to ensure a safe and congenial work environment, etc. The presentation was also followed by a quiz session.
The workshop concluded with a question and answer session and a vote of thanks by Dr. Faheem Ahmad.
