The QA Coordinator, Ms. Jawaher Al Balushi (Department of the Business Studies) conducted an orientation session on Strategic Plan and Action Plan components to prepare the “Unit Action Plan” for the Academic year 2022-2023 on May 29, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Business Department Meeting Room.

The orientation was attended by Ms. Viji, the Head of the Media/Website Committee, Mr. Naveed. the Head of the Health and Safety Committee, and by Mr. Talib, the head of the Risk Management Committee.

Dr. Simi, the Head of the Internal Curriculum Review and Teaching Methods Committee, Ms. Dhana Lakshmi, the Head of the Academic Integrity Committee, Dr. Shantanu, a Member of the Industrial Link and Community Engagement Committee, Ms. Halimah, the Head of the HRDC Committee, Dr. Alamelu Mangai, the Head of the Research, Consultations and Ethics Committee, Mr. Shrikant Taware, Head of Section EBA/Marketing & Academic Coordinator, Dr. Ghouse Sharif, the Department Registrar, Dr. Ramesh, the Head of the Examination Committee, and Mr. Mohammed Kashif, the Head of the Time Tabling Committee, also attended the orientation session.

During the orientation, pertinent questions such as how to write the implementation steps for the strategies and their sub-goals were raised and addressed. Mr. Manoj and Mr. Omar asked questions about the components of the Action Plan Achievement Report [APAR] and how to fill those components which were addressed by the QA Coordinator, Ms. Jawaher Al Balushi. The orientation session was concluded with a thank you note to all the participants for their valuable contribution in the form of sharing their ideas and giving their valuable time.
