Engineering Students Participate in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2021
A team of students from the Engineering and IT Departments comprised of Noor Nasser Mohammed Khalfan Alhousni (BTech ECE), Rawan Nasser Anad Nasser Alsiyabi (BTech-ECE), Nahrawan Saif Nasser Almazidi(B-Tech-ECE), Layali Rashid Humaid Salim Al Salhi (IT Dept), Nda Yousuf Khalfan Al Qutaiti (IT Dept) participated in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2021 held on 2nd to 3rd October 2021.
These students who registered as “UTASA Galaxy” team were among the 28000 registrants from 162 countries. The students presented their graduation project called “Self-Billing Trolley” with the guidance of their project supervisor, Mr. Mahmood Zayid Khamis Al-Ajmi.
The Team was qualified for the pitching phase and was appreciated by the Head of the Department, Mr. Abdul Hamid Alhinai and the Head of the Section, Mr. Mohammad Sajid Ali.
