IT Students Embarked on an Industrial Visit to Riyada
The IT Department students from diverse specializations participated in the industrial visit to the Incubation and Business Center at Riyada in Azaiba, Muscat on 3rd February 2022.
Riyada is an organization managed by the National Business Center (NBC). It seeks to support entrepreneurs and owners of small and micro enterprises with innovative and promising ideas, sound economic studies, and essential resources for them to achieve their business goals. Riyada also aims to provide these entrepreneurs and owners with a suitable working environment during the critical and early years of their project.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the services by different presenters at the Center. The presentation highlighted the Center’s efforts to provide special offers, support, services, and training to entrepreneurs. A brief description of the financial support to incubators by Al Raffd Corporation was also delivered and the students were toured around the startup companies in the incubation center.
The industrial visit as a whole inspired and motivated the students to become successful entrepreneurs.
