Webinar on CNC Programming Based on Fanuc Control
EnggThe Human Resources and Development Committee (HRDC) of the Department of Engineering has organized a webinar on “CNC Programming Based on Fanuc Control" on Tuesday, 24th May 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The session was delivered by Mr. Asadahamad S. Dayma, a technician at the Mechanical Workshop and in charge of CNC LAB, Department of Engineering, UTAS-Al Mussanah. The main objective of the session was to provide basic information on the CNC Part-Programming, Simulation Tools, and Software to the academic staff of the Mechanical Engineering Section. The presenter covered topics related to the origin and development of CNC machines and controls, codes, and structure of programming and practically demonstrated the simulations using WinNC software.
The webinar was attended by over 35 participants. Mr. Karthikheyen Shanmugham, an HRDC member welcomed Mr. Asad, the presenter, and the participants and also delivered a vote of thanks for the same.
