Workshop on Regression Task for Machine Learning Conducted

The webinar was delivered by Dr. K.A.Venkatesh, a Professor of Math & Computer Science, MIIT, Myanmar, and an Adjunct Professor at IIIT Bits in India.
The Department of Information Technology, University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Al Musanhah (UTAS-A) organized a webinar titled “Regression Task for Machine Learning - Research Perspective” on 29 March 2022 at 6 PM.
The webinar was attended by staff from UTAS-A and from other higher educational institutions in Oman.
Dr. Venkatesh discussed regression equations, multiple regressions, and various possible extensions in the research perspective from alpha to gamma. He has given a short note on getting into R Programming and executing regression through R programming. The resource speaker also talked about the various types of visualization of data and regression becoming the core of this workshop. He further explained most of the research questions and encouraged active participation from the attendees.
The workshop started with an introduction by Mr.Pramendar Kumar, HRDC Coordinator of IT followed by a welcome speech from Dr. Najiba Said Hamed Alzadjali, HoD IT. The webinar concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Rachappa, a lecturer from IT.
