In the presence of Dr. Aziza Abdallah Humaid Alqamashoui, the Head of the department of Business Studies and Head of the sections, the Department of Business Studies conducted a workshop on preparing the “Unit Action Plan” for the Academic year 2022-2023 on June 02, 2022.

It was organized by the Quality Assurance Team of the Business Studies department. The workshop started from 1:30 PM till 3:00 PM at Business Room 112. The Business Studies department staff teamed themselves into 4 different groups with its appointed leaders as per the following 4 Goals in the Strategic Plan: 

Goal 1 was headed by Mr. Islam Al Balushi (HoS, HRM) along with Media & website Committee, Health and Safety, Risk Management, and Student Academic and Social activities Committee with all its members.

Goal 2 was headed by Mr. Jaffer Ali Khan (HoS Accounting) along with internal Curriculum Review and Teaching Methods Committee, Academic Integrity, Industrial Link and Community Engagement Committee, and HRDC Committee with all its members.

Goal 3 was headed by Dr. Alamelu Mangai (Head of the Research, Consultations and Ethics Committee) along with Technology Transfer Office, Entrepreneurship and Quality Assurance Committee with all its members.

Goal 4 was headed by Mr. Shrikant Taware, Head of Section EBA/Marketing & Academic Coordinator, along with the Industrial Link and Community Engagement, Registration and Examination Committee, and Bench Marking Committee with all its members.

During the workshop, a series of questions were asked regarding the alignment of the Strategic Plan for its implementation steps which were effectively explained by the QA Coordinator, Ms. Jawaher Al Balushi, and Dr. Rashmi Mishra.

Finally, the Goal leaders along with the support and coordination of the committee members submitted the assigned goals with appropriate implementation steps. The QA Coordinator consolidated all the goals for the final submission.
