ISG Students Participate in a Webinar Organized by the ISACA MUSCAT CHAPTER

ISACA Muscat Chapter organized a webinar on the topic “Governing the choice of IT technologies that rule our daily lives, and making us resilient to cyber threats” on 16th September 2020 from 7.30 PM to 9.30 PM. The speaker Dr Paul Theron, has been supporting the Advanced Cyber Academy in Muscat, Oman. He joined Thales’ cyber security division in 2007, where he is a manager and senior expert, where he carried out several roles in research, technology and consulting. He is the director of the “Aerospace Cyber Resilience” (Cyb’Air) research chair of the French Air Force, with the support of Dassault Aviation and Thales. He is also the co-founder and first Chair of the “Autonomous Intelligent Cyber-Defense Agent” (AICA) International Working Group and co-lead of NATO’s IST-152 Research Task Group on autonomous cyber defense.
ISACA Student Group students of Al-Musanna College of Technology (ACT-ISG), attended the webinar and benefitted from it. All the participants received an e-certificate for their involvement and participation.
