Mechanical Engineering Section of the Department of Engineering organized a seminar on “Effective Practices on Planning and Delivering Practical Sessions” on Tuesday, 7th June 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in ME103. In this Seminar, Mr. Malik Alriyami and Mr. Qusay Alkindi talked about four major areas: a) The Preparation of Laboratory and Experimental Facilities, b) Safety Regulations, c) Planning and Delivering Practical Sessions, and d) Development and Improvement of UTASA Laboratories. Mr. Qusay presented the effective methods and procedures that help the instructors and the technicians to prepare for the new semester. In addition, he suggested the possible improvements to the practical sessions and laboratories. Mr. Malik introduced the safety regulations and the user guidelines of the laboratory. Furthermore, he presented the way of delivering and teaching the practical sessions, and the uses of technology in teaching and demonstrating the practical sessions. The Seminar was extremely successful as it created interest among staff of M & I section of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Al Musanna and had a participation of 30 attendees. Mr. Karthikheyen. S. welcomed the Head of the Department, Mr. Abdul Hamid Al-Hinai, and the Head of Section, Dr. Naser AlHaddabi to the seminar. He offered a vote of thanks to all the participants for their valuable time and active participation in the seminar.
