CEBA Organized a Workshop On "Navigating Academic Publishing: A Comprehensive Workshop on Journal Publications"
The College of Economics and Business Administration (CEBA) conducted a two-day workshop on "Navigating Academic Publishing: A Comprehensive Workshop on Journal Publications" from 25 February 2024 to 26 February 2024, from 9. 00 AM to 1.00 PM. Mr. Jaheer Mukthar, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru, was the speaker of this event designed to equip the participants with knowledge and skills to navigate the publishing process confidently.
The workshop was mainly focused on research publication, indexing, and Scopus. Mr. Mukhtar highlighted the need for professionals to publish in a high impact journal citing the importance of Scopus in the academic field, and advantages of Scopus publication for universities and staff. He also shared some insights on how to choose the appropriate journal, journal selection tools, and other pertinent information about manuscript submission.
The event concluded with a presentation of a token of appreciation to the speaker by Mr. Islam Al Balushi, Head of Section – HRM. The event ended with a promising note that there will be more collaborations in the field of research in the years to come.
