Oman Conference for Environment Sustainability Held at SQU
The Environment Authority of Oman organized the "Oman Conference for Environment Sustainability" with the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority. This event, in collaboration with Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Oman, took place at the Muscat Convention & Exhibition Centre from February 26 to 28, 2024.
During the conference, Dr. Neetu Kwatra, a lecturer from CEBA, and Dr. Khalfan Al Rashdi, Director of Aquaculture at the Ministry of Fisheries and Water Resources, Oman, presented their paper titled "Assessing the Impact of Fishery Production, Licensing Policies, and Exports on Economic Growth for Resource Optimization and Sustainable Development." Dr. Malik AlWardy, the Conference Moderator and Associate Professor, as well as Director of the Centre for Environmental Studies and Research at SQU, and Dr. Adnan Nasser AlAzri, Conference Chair and Chairperson of the CLCS at the United Nations, expressed keen interest in the presentation and offered valuable suggestions for further improving the research output.
Dr. Aziza Abdallah Humaid Alqamashoui, Head of Business, also extended warm wishes to Dr. Neetu Kwatra for her research endeavors, expressing hopes for her continued success in future endeavors.
