Student Workshop on Revit Architectural Program Conducted

January 21-25, 2024

Ms. Zulfa Alkharusi delivered a training workshop for students about the Revit architectural program on January 21-25, 2024. This is part of the initiative aimed at supporting students academically and preparing them for their professional lives.

On the first day of the workshop, Ms. Zulfa provided a detailed explanation of the importance of the program, its working mechanism, and how to open the program for architectural projects. She also explained how to save each project correctly and explained all the icons, workspace, and their application. The following day, the speaker provided a quick review of the previous topics and then taught students and graduates how to add details such as concrete and walls and save them in a reference file to make it easy to refer to at any time. On the third day of the workshop, an integrated project was started. This aimed to prepare the students and graduates to work on any project from beginning to end. This was followed by project completion on the fourth day. At that time, the students were taught to export and import any project from another program. On the fifth and final day of the workshop, the students were taught to add the final touches to any project.

They were also briefed on how to make materials and tiles, design outdoor gardens, and install internal and external lighting for any project.
