ISACA Community Day Celebration at UTAS Al-Musannah
ITThe Department of Information Technology (IT) of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Al Musannah celebrated the ISACA Community Day on 1st October 2022. The members of the ISACA Student Group (ISG), with the guidance and support of the IT Department, marked the occasion with a variety programme called 'Bringing Smile on Each Other's Face'.
The ISG team randomly visited some people inside and outside the campus and gave them surprise gifts to capture images of the bright smile on their faces. The event was a great success as everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
The event continued with a webinar on ‘Mobile Hygiene’ which was organized by ISACA Muscat Chapter. Mr. Srikanth K Kota, a senior Information Security and Audit professional was the resource person. Many students and staff of the Department of IT attended the webinar and gained valuable information about the risk associated with the use of mobile phones.
