The Mathematics Section in coordination with the Human Resource Development Committee (HRDC) of the IT Department organized a session on the Implementation of Case Study-Based Problems in GFP Math courses. The presentation was given by Mr. Madhan Narayanan on December 5, 2023.

The program started with a warm welcome by Ms. Blessy Jayaron Jose, HRDC Coordinator (Math Section), of the IT Department. The main objective of the program was to give awareness to the staff about the implementation of case study-based problems in GFP Math courses. The presentation also introduced the easy, moderate, and difficult case study-based problems with examples. Mr. Madhan explained each problem and discussed solutions and how they are implemented easily and interactively. He also explained the difference between problem-based learning and case study-based learning.

The event ended with a question-and-answer session followed by a short meeting presided over by the Head of Unit, Dr. Asim Thabit Talib Al Mammari. Dr. Asim discussed various aspects related to IPMS, upcoming Final Examinations, the Staff Development Program, and student activities.

The program ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Blessy Jayaron Jose.
