Hands-on IoT Workshop for IT Staff Conducted
ITThe Human Resource Development Committee (HRDC) of the IT Department organized a two-day professional development session titled 'Hands-on IoT Workshop for Staff' on October 31 & November 01, 2023. The session was led by Dr. Tamilarasi G. of the IT Department.
The workshop introduced the fundamentals of IoT techniques and future concepts of IoT with new technology. In addition, the presenter talked about the remote access of IoT devices using the analytic platform ‘ThingSpeak’.
Finally, Dr. Tamilarasi G. highlighted the importance of developing prototype-based projects to analyse data. The session was interactive with hands-on activities using the Arduino program and IoT devices such as Arduino, Node MCU, Sensors and LCD. The workshop helped the participants to improve their knowledge and understanding of IoT. At the end of the session, Ms. Jiyamole Jose, HRDC Coordinator, thanked the presenter and the participants for making the workshop a great success.
