IT Students Engage in an ACM Student Chapter Initiative
The Hour of Code – “Creativity with AI” activity organized by the UTAS-Al Mussanah Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Student Chapter, was successfully conducted from December 3rd to December 6th, coinciding with the Global Computer Science Education Week.
Students were encouraged to engage in an Hour of Code, a collaborative learning environment where participants explore the limitless realms of creativity empowered by AI. The UTAS-Al Mussanah ACM Student Chapter office bearer, Ms. Rabia Abdulrahman Abdallah Albalushi, engaged students with interactive activities, coding challenges, and AI project showcases using the resources provided by the ACM Professional Chapter. Beyond providing valuable insights into coding and AI, this activity facilitated collaboration and networking opportunities among participants and chapter members.
The UTAS-Al Mussanah ACM Student Chapter remains committed to nurturing technological literacy and innovation within the community, aligning with the global movement to make coding and AI accessible to all.
