New Rules and Regulations for Advisement Discussed by IT Staff

The Human Resource Development Committee (HRDC), in collaboration with the Advisement & Registration Team of the IT Department, organized a presentation on the “New Academic Bylaws” (Rules and Regulations for Advisement)' on November 28, 2023. Two IT lecturers jointly led the session: Dr. Mohammed Ehmer Khan & Mr. S G M Shadab.

 

The main objective of the presentation was to give detailed information about the different academic programs offered in the College of Computing and Information Sciences at UTAS-Al Mussanah. The speakers explained the rules for moving from one level to the next (Diploma to Advanced Diploma and Advanced Diploma to B Tech) and the various conditions for foundation students to register for post-foundation courses simultaneously.   In addition, there was a detailed discussion of various articles in the updated University Bylaws. The awareness session helped the academic staff understand the rules and regulations they must follow while teaching and advising the students enrolled from the September 2022 batch onwards.
